Design Process for Featured Project:
Scenario-Based eLearning Module
Tools used: Google Docs, Twine, Google Slides, and Articulate Storyline
The segments below illustrate the full cycle of my process in creating an eLearning module, the example here being a scenario-based learning module I created for a freelance role (sharing permission obtained from client). In this example, the problem is a particular set of employees are repeatedly not completing a crucial process for the business the correct way. eLearning is an appropriate solution because it allows participants to navigate this process with the outcome not affecting real life but preparing them to be able to complete the task in real life. Mastery is demonstrated by selecting the correct steps of the process in order and thus completing the module correctly. Each stage of the process, from planning to final product, is provided below.
Project Brief
Featured here is an image of a Google Doc containing the summary from the client of the goals of this module, including what participants should be able to do by the end of the module and the overall importance of this task to the functionality of the business.

Action Map
This is the action map diagram I created using Twine to plan for a scenario-based training module on ordering parts and supplies according to company policy. Choices are designated with letter code for ease of connection and visibility.

Storyboard
The image provided here is a snapshot of the first slide in a set I created using Google Slides to present a realistic representation of how the final slides would look and connect, including hyperlinking all slides according to selected buttons and answer choices. While not all images are included, associated descriptions are present in place of some images so appropriate images could be obtained for the final product.

Final Product
This is an image of the home page of the final product, created using Articulate Storyline. As shown in the storyboard, it is set to where participants must choose the correct path of choices in order to access the final recap and end the module. If they do not select the correct path, then they must restart the module. Music is aligned with the intro slides for engagement effect. The characters are purposefully chosen to represent the target participants for the module.
